YOU DO NOT NEED EVERY ANSWER TO GET STARTED.
Architectural Design Consultation
You may know what you want to change without knowing what it involves. Or you may be deciding whether a property can support a new home. A first conversation helps organize the questions, identify what information is missing, and decide what kind of architectural help you need.

THE SERVICE
An architectural design consultation with MAXS Architecture begins with your goals, property, approximate budget, and current stage. We discuss the likely design scope and next steps. Detailed feasibility studies, drawings, or technical assessments are separate services when required.
THE DESIGN APPROACH
A useful first conversation begins with your situation.
You do not need a polished brief, a collection of floor plans, or a firm answer on every finish. Explain what you are trying to achieve and what is holding you back. That gives us a starting point for discussing the property and the work ahead.
Sometimes the next step is an architectural proposal. Sometimes it is gathering a survey, checking available records, or arranging a more detailed property study. We want the next decision to be clear enough that you know what to do with it.

DECISIONS WORTH MAKING EARLY
What we will talk through
The discussion is most useful when it connects your goals to the information and decisions the project will need.
The property
Location, ownership, available records, and any known HOA, site, or design-review considerations.
The scope and investment
What you want to build or change, which priorities matter most, and your construction budget expectations.
The next step
Whether the project is ready for a proposal or needs further information, a site review, or specialist input first.
HOW THE WORK DEVELOPS

FROM A PROJECT QUESTION TO A CLEARER BRIEF
An existing plan, a site survey, or even annotated photographs can help explain what you are considering. They do not need to be professionally assembled before you contact us. We will discuss which documents are useful and which may need to be prepared as part of a later service.
COMMON QUESTIONS
What to know before your consultation
-
The format and any fee are confirmed before booking. A project introduction, a site visit, and a detailed feasibility review involve different levels of work and should be scoped accordingly.
-
Say so. We can discuss your priorities and what is needed to define a realistic scope. Builder pricing or cost-consultant input may be needed before you commit to the full design direction.
-
Only if those deliverables are specifically agreed. An introductory discussion helps identify the next steps; drawings, technical evaluations, and written feasibility studies are separately defined services.
-
Yes. Early architectural input can help you understand the design scope and the information a builder may need. If you already have a builder, we can include their role in the discussion.
